A Sweet Gesture from the Komets

When the RAOA officiating crew arrived at Kasson Mantorville High School on Tuesday night for the boys' basketball contest, they found a welcoming surprise waiting for them in the locker room.

Sitting on the chair was a bright blue gift bag, clearly labeled with the Komets logo and a message that read, "Thank You For Officiating! We Appreciate You!" The team had thoughtfully stocked the bag with game-day essentials: a red sports drink, a bag of pretzels, and a Hershey's chocolate treat.

It is always a great feeling when a school goes out of its way to make the officials feel welcome. This display of sportsmanship and hospitality by the Kasson Mantorville Boys Basketball program was the perfect way to start the night.
